The Metrowest Nonprofit Network was formed in 1992 to bring local nonprofits together to provide expertise on topics of mutual interest, share ideas, exchange information and improve interagency communication.
While it seems simple, researching and choosing which organizations to support can be confusing and time-consuming.
Building on our commitment to increase the capacity of our region’s nonprofit community, Crossroads Community Foundation established a formal collaboration with the Metrowest Nonprofit Network in 1997.
To strengthen nonprofit organizations, Crossroads and the Network offer formal training workshops in the areas of grantwriting and development, board and staff development, financial management, and technology as well as more informal sessions for nonprofit executive directors on a variety of topics.
Crossroads provides staffing support and other in-kind administrative services, and the Network continues to be led by a volunteer steering committee of nonprofit executives and managers who meet regularly to plan programming and events.
